On Archill Isand just off the mainland

This is on Keem Bay--supposedly one of the top ten beaches in the world.  I've seen better!

 wPassage ways are in front of the toms to help the deceased pass into the spirit world.  T his is the largest burial pit In the cemetery-- most likely a king of the ancient tribes.

This guide in Derry looks like my friend, Hank


My ancestors on my mother's side were named McIntyre



The countryside is expansive with large fields, and quite different than the small green fields in the south.


Just outside of Derry in northern Ireland

Grianan of Aileach ...a fort built in the 5th to 12th century that was built to the god Dagda.  This was rebuilt in the 1800s after it had been destroyed.  It's pretty windy up there, and you can see 360 degrees around!
