My grandgirls, Lindsay Jane and Sydney Kay, were able to enjoy my adventure in 2013 with Semester at Sea (SAS), but now I have an adventure of a different kind with Jackson Trippers in sunny California in the middle of winter in 2015!

Hey!
Do you have questions? Comments? Please put them here....I feel like I'm talking to myself!
OK, here's my comment: I'm enjoying every day of your journey. Love the photos. Hope you and others are feeling better. Did they track the source of the stomach problems?
Hi, Mary Ann-- They were trying to track the traveler's "disease" by having people fill in a log about what they ate and where they ate it for the last three days prior to the "incident"....However, the incubation period is 4 - 7 days and I'm not sure they were able to identify anything with accuracy. I chose not to go to the TAJ, because it involved getting on an airplane and a lot of travel time. Those who went on overnight trips saw a lot more than I have, but I am able to do more days trips that allow more interaction. I've met Phyllis who you would have roomed with in San Diego, and she's a great person. Hope things are doing better for you. Jan
