Friends, museum, and swollen knee

Today I had a wonderful visit with my friends, Mel and Sharon Myers. Mel picked me up and we drove to Palm Desert where they are renting a condo for two months. It's really interesting to notice how Palm Desert is much more upscale and less interesting in it's architecture. Sharon and I had a wonderful chat on their patio, and we probably could never run out of chatting topics. We worked out how and when we'll get together during my time here.

Mel drove me back to my hotel, and then “Coyn” drove me down to the art museum where I saw caste—not blown—glass sculptures. On my walk down to the street fair, I fell. As I lay smack down on the sidewalk, I remember thinking, “I wonder if anyone will help me get up.” When I was able to look up, I saw about 6 or 7 people surrounding me and I had plenty of help with only one knee damaged. The street fair was fabulous especially with an electric cello player...and, I bought his CD!
