My grandgirls, Lindsay Jane and Sydney Kay, were able to enjoy my adventure in 2013 with Semester at Sea (SAS), but now I have an adventure of a different kind with Jackson Trippers in sunny California in the middle of winter in 2015!

Yesterday we drove down a road that follows the Pacific Ocean to Laguna Beach. There are many towns like Laguna Beach along the Pacific Ocean beachfront. On one side of the road is the beach, restaurants, and stores for tourists. On the other side of the road is a hill with houses that climb all the way up to the top. It is very crowded with lots of traffic!
